Hiller J10 Model Construction - Continued To test whether the tail unit would work, I constructed a flying test bed fitted with a standard fly-bar rotor. You can see the early flights in this video. On the finished model I used my LM Fly-Barless head - as shown above. The next job was to fit the interior - when that was complete the model was taken apart and painted. The model is then re-assembled and the interior finished. The model was now finished and ready to fly.
