A Bit of a Challenge
At long last I have finally got round to writing my autobiography - and I've included details of how I go about building a championship winning scale helicopter.
It costs £17.95 which includes a CD containing videos and over 500 photos of my models and how they were constructed.
With over 140 pages - many of them, in full colour, the book details many events from my life including how I got started in building helicopters, my experiences in the James Bond films, TV and pop videos, some sinister going-on's in Eastern Europe, competing around the world in F3C and scale, and tagging whales in the arctic!
As well as being an entertaining read, even if you are not into scale helicopters, I also wanted to cover how I approach the research and then building a model helicopter. Therefore the second half of the book is dedicated to this and includes photos of how I approached the building of my latest model that is an accurate replica of the amazing Red Bull BO105 aerobatic helicopter.
I do hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did in putting it together.

" Aviation is a passion. And a passion is connecting people.
Pilots are enthusiasts in
flying aircraft out of the Flying Bulls fleet, but at the end of a day many of
our pilots are also flying model aircraft. Therefore it was completely
clear for us to offer Len Mount the support he asked for in technical details
for building a scale helicopter of our BO-105.
The detailing is that
complete and precise that we were not able to differentiate between the
original helicopter and the scale model from Len without getting a reference
through any subject.
We are proud that Len had
chosen a Flying Bulls helicopter for his incredible project and above all the
scale helicopter flies the same aerobatic manouvers as the "big one".
It is unique worldwide
both, showing an entire program of loops, rolls, backflips and turns with an
helicopter certified for this kind of flying, and with the corresponding scale
model.
The Flying Bulls are
operating 2 BO-105 CB-4 (based in Salzburg) and 2 BO-105 CBS-5 (based in Van
Nuys, L.A.) thus used by Len to design the model.
Congratulation to Len Mount
from his friends at The Flying Bulls!
